In order to promote the widespread use of renewable energy and realize a carbon-neutral society, on April 1, 2022, Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. (President: Masataka Fujiwara, hereinafter "Osaka Gas") will launch “Sumai Roof,” a service that allows customers living in existing and new detached houses in the service area of Osaka Gas to install a solar power generation system without any initial cost, and "Sumai Roof Plus," which includes the lease of a storage battery system as an optional service. Bissau solar Power Generation System
Near the capital Bissau, a 30 MWp solar power plant will be built with the aim of “reducing the average cost of electricity in the country and diversifying the energy mix, while battery storage will make it possible, in the first phase, to smooth the injection curve and, in the second phase, to provide services to the electricity system”, according to the Bissau-Guinean Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Integration.
