Syria solar New Energy Storage Field
Damascus: The Ministry of Energy of the Syrian Arab Republic and ACWA Power, the world’s largest private water desalination company, a leader in the global energy transition, and a first mover in green hydrogen, announced the signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to study develop approximately 2.5 GW of solar and wind capacity — alongside energy storage and a proposed national technical training centre — in the Syrian Arab Republic.
